The Lily Barn presents it second in a series of Scheduled Horticultural talks.

Sunday John Marks will speak at The Lily Barn on “Peppers”  and Pat Stewart with share herb news on rare herbs!   Talk begins at 2PM.  Cost $15.  Refreshments will be served and our speakers will share many secrets and wares!!!  Location is 1116 Carr’s Creek Road.  321 to Webb Road and go 3 miles.  Farm is on your right.  We meet at the pavilion at the top of the hill.

John Marks has a massive collection of peppers.  He will be sharing his knowledge of drying them and making spices used in breads, jellies, salsas and candies.  Peppers also have some medicinal uses.

Pat owns two green houses and specializes in hard to find herbs.  She is from the Chattanooga area and has brought wares to share and sell.
