The Lily Barn takes pride in being a Botanical Native Plant Garden for the last twenty years,  It is one of the few places to buy a native plant in East Tennessee.  We encourage you to walk our garden and see how we have used native plants.  Peruse our cold frame for the “unsual”.  A Native plant tends to be hardier and establish more easily.  We use native plants in several of our beds to encourage pollinators.  Of course, the Lily Barn also showcases over 140 different varieties of hardy Daylilies to purchase.  The Daylilies bloom in May and peak is the end of June, when we host a Daylily Festival.  Come Visit us!  And if you can’t, we will gladly ship our plants to you!

The Lily Barn Event Venue

Pavilion

Tucked away from the world, this solid timber frame structure overlooks a 3 acre perennial garden and makes a great venue for an outdoor wedding reception or a party! It seats 138 and the rest of the guests spill out onto the garden mezzanine. There’s something magical about the diamonds of tiny lights in the ceiling and the music in the air and having a Smoky Mountain Reception! Our convenient guest lodging is just up the mountain for the honeymoon night!

Gazebo

The gazebo, located in front of our pond and flanked by thousands of day lilies, provides the perfect setting for your vows. Taupe chairs are set in a shallow arch so that all may hear and see your wedding ceremony and wedding vows exchanged. And what better than being in the Smokies.

Bridal Dressing Suite

You and your bridesmaids can enjoy our 140 year old air conditioned cantilever barn with refreshments, maybe even a champagne toast before the wedding. It provides the perfect dressing area, in that it is entirely private, stress free and has plenty of couches for chilling and conversation prior to the wedding.

Our perennial garden provides a great sanctuary for your Smoky Mountain Wedding. With multiple opportunities for photo shoots, bad wedding pictures are a thing of the past. Enjoy pictures of our lovely perennial gardens with family and friends!

Grooms Cabin 

Relax and get ready for the big day in our new grooms cabin! This provides a air conditioned space for the men to get ready and hang out during the preparation for the wedding tucked into the side of the smoky mountains.
